Secretary. Possible
cause. Originally came with
a stiff neck, then twisted their ankle, tube bandage fitted, too tender
to touch. Bowen Treatments. Body
balancing moves at each session. Leg
moves only, ankle too tender to touch. One
treatment for the neck, then three treatments for the ankle. She had not had an
X-ray on the ankle, so the leg was treated, this involved lymphatic drainage and
hence would give benefit to the whole area. Wearing of tube-bandages is mainly
of psychological benefit, but they do restrict muscular mobility, and hence lymphatic
drainage, also venous restrictions do not assist the healing processes. Response
to the treatment. See comments. Comments:
After the first treatment,
Warm sensation in lower back. How can a movement so delicate produce the
effect? Third treatment, She was more relaxed, a quieter environment
would help. (The treatment room was adjacent to a busy corridor with banging
doors.) Final comment. Swelling of the ankle has reduced since the first
treatment, or was it coincidental? (!) She went on an adventure holiday
after the last treatment. Telephone call. Absolutely firm and fine ever
since.
