Elderly Lady.

Possible cause.

Slipped disc in six months ago.

Bowen Treatments.

Body balancing moves.

Response to treatment.

Urgent call as she was in considerable pain and was bed-bound, unable to lie on her back and bend her knees.

I was concerned that other therapies were overlapping the Bowen therapy (see information re Bowen Therapy). However, something had to be done to alleviate her discomfort.

One treatment was all that could be given.

However her daughter called me the next day to tell me that her mother was able to come down the stairs and noticed some improvement. She was impressed by the treatment but thought it only fair to keep her appointment with her osteopath. No further contact.
