Lady. Possible
causes. Trapped nerve. Bowen
Treatments. Body balancing
moves at each session. Knee
moves, Hamstrings, Kidney adjustment, pelvic correction. Response
to treatment. She was concerned
that as she was on steroids, then this could risk the onset of osteoporosis and
the need for a hip replacement. She was overweight and hoped that the Bowen would
ease the pain, thus reduce the steroid dose and the consequent risk of osteoporosis,
and therefore the need for the hip replacement. Comments. After
the first treatment she commented Improved, pain not so consistent, though
a stabbing pain when it does occur, more of an ache behind both knees,
no swelling in neither ankles nor knees. She
picked up a gastric bug and had to go to primary care and then back to her own
Doctor. He said that he had never heard of Bowen and that she was not to have
anymore treatment until after her blood had been checked. The Doctor told her
to lose weight, (despite her having been put on steroids), to see a nutritionist,
and to have plenty of exercise, such as swimming and walking! No further contact.
